Network status of a device or system can be checked using monitoring. Click on "Monitoring" in the navigation pane. Select 
enter the device's IP address or system URL. In the example below, "www.ibm.com" is being monitored (to check Internet performance) along with the local router (192.168.1.1) and a local Raspberry Pi (192.168.1.27):
Rules and actions can be established to send notifications via text (SMS) or email should the device or system, for example, go down or performance drops below a certain level.
