Linux - Installing JEDI One as a service

image.png

Login as a user who is part of the sudo group

The instructions for this example assume the JEDI One installation file (mcjedi.bin) is in the user's Downloads directory.

Open a terminal window and issue the following commands:

$ cd ~
$ mkdir jedi
$ cp ~/Downloads/mcjedi.bin ~/jedi
$ cd jedi
$ sudo chmod +x ./mcjedi.bin
$ sudo ./mcjedi.bin -service install
$ sudo ./mcjedi.bin -service start

JEDI One is now running on your Ubuntu machine.  Open a browser on that machine and navigate to:

http://127.0.0.1:9123

Now login to JEDI One, you are ready to go!
